Portable Works Collection


The Portable Works collection consists of work purchased annually from the juried shows at the Shoreline Arts Festival and private donations from citizens in the area. Started in 1994 the collection has grown to 38 pieces. The mostly two-dimensional work spans all mediums and sizes. These pieces are on display for the public to enjoy at the two Shoreline Neighborhood Police Storefronts, the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park City Halls, the Shoreline Foundation office, the Spartan Gym, Jay Inslee's office and the Arts Council office in the Shoreline Center.

Our newest purchases from the 2010 Shoreline Arts Festival were a photograph entitled "Sprin Rain" by photographer Louise Nadeau and "Leafy Home," a painting by artist Kim Brayman. They are currently on display at the Arts Council office at Shoreline Center.
