August Arts
August 11-15th, 9am-3:30 pm
Meridian Park Elementary School
Tuition: $200
This day camp for students finishing 3rd - 6th grade is located at Meridian Park Elementary School. Before and after school care is not provided but may be available through the Shoreline Children’s Center. During a typical day, students will spend nearly three hours (in two parts) working with the core teacher and an hour in each of the elective classes. After a sack lunch from home and a recess, all students gather together for ART SHARE where the artists demonstrate their talents. The week ends with performances and a gallery tour.
Enroll early to guarantee your spot! If your choice for a core class cannot be met, but other openings are available, we will contact you. Registration ends when filled.

Shoreline Jazz Camp
Learn and Play With The Pro’s
August 4th-8th, 11th & 12th, 9am-1pm
Shorewood High School
Tuition: $295
This day camp is for students finishing 7th - 12th grade and is located at Shoreweood High School. The mission of the Shoreline Jazz Camp is to provide young musicians the opportunity to learn and play with some of the regions most accomplished teachers and performers. Our program creates a safe and structured learning environment, in which students of varying skill levels are able share in the joy of playing Jazz. The camp includes instruction in large and small ensembles, and a series of master classes that are designed to refine the individual’s skills and understanding of Jazz.
The camp will showcase the students’ hard work in two performances on August 12th. The first will be an 11am lunch concert at Shorewood High School, and the second will be at 7 pm at the Shoreline North City Jazz Walk.

Big Band
Jazz Theory and Harmony
Sight-Reading
The Art of Solo Transcription
Ear Training
