Portable Works Collection


The Portable Works collection consists of work purchased annually from the juried shows at the Shoreline Arts Festival and private donations from citizens in the area. Started in 1994 the collection has grown to 36 pieces. The mostly two-dimensional work spans all mediums and sizes. These pieces are on display for the public to enjoy at the two Shoreline Neighborhood Police Storefronts, the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park City Halls, two Shoreline Bank branches, the Shoreline Foundation office, Spartan Gym, Jay Inslee's office and the Arts Council office in the Shoreline Center.

Our newest purchase from the 2009 Shoreline Arts Festival is a photograph entitled "Floating Lanterns III" by photographer Deb Casso. It is currently on display at The Gallery at Shoreline Center.
